Peach Pie

Ingredients:

2 pie crusts, unbaked
6 medium peaches
1/3 cup flour
1 cup sugar
pinch salt
1 teaspoon lemon juice

Directions:

1. Wash peaches, remove seed, then peel and slice.

2. In a large bowl, combine peaches, sugar, flour, salt and lemon juice.

3. Pour mixture into a put in a prepared pie crust. Dot the top of the peaches with butter.

4. Place the top crust onto the peaches in the pie pan. Seal the edges then cut a few slits in the top of the pie crust to let steam escape.

5. Sprinkle some sugar on the top of the pie crust.

6. Bake at 350F for 35-45 minutes

Peach Pecan Pie

Peach Pecan Pie

Ingredients

* 2 eggs, beaten
* 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
* 1/4 cup light corn syrup
* 1/8 teaspoon salt
* 1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
* 2 tablespoons melted butter
* 1 teaspoons vanilla extract
* 1 cup pecan halves
* 1 pie shell
* 1 egg white, beaten
*
* Peach filling:
* 2 cups frozen peaches
* 1/3 cup all purpose flour
* 1 cup white sugar

Method

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brush egg white into pie shell and pre-bake for 8 minutes. Filling: In a large bowl, combine beaten eggs with maple syrup, corn syrup, brown sugar, salt, melted butter, and vanilla. Blend well and stir in pecans. Pour filling into shell, filling halfway, and bake for 25 minutes. Mix flour, sugar and butter to crumb stage. Line top of pecan pie with sliced peaches. Sprinkle butter mixture on top of peaches, then add more peaches on top of crumb mixture. Continue layering until both peaches and crumbs are gone. Finish baking 35 minutes. Allow pie to cool before slicing.

> 1 cup water
> 1/2 cup sugar
> 2 tbsp cornstarch
> 3 cups sliced fresh peaches
> 3 tbsp Jello (orange or peach)

Directions:
>DIRECTIONS:
>Bring cup of water to a boil, stir in cornstarch and sugar at the same
>time, boiling until clear. Then add Jello, stirring until dissolved. Cool
>mixture. Add freshly sliced peaches and pour into a baked pie crust or
>graham cracker pie shell. When serving, top with Cool Whip or vanilla ice
>cream.
