Strawberry Pie

INGREDIENTS:

2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
1/2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
1 qt. fresh or frozen strawberries
1 baked 9″ pie shell

DIRECTIONS:

Blend together cornstarch and sugar; combine with water in saucepan. Cook until thick, about 5 minutes. Add gelatin to mixture; stir until dissolved. Allow to cool, but not completely cold. Clean strawberries, slice in half and spread evenly in baked pie shell. Pour cooled gelatin mixture over berries; chill for 2 to 3 hours. (If frozen berries are used, drain well.)
