Frosty Pumpkin Pie

INGREDIENTS:

1 (9 inch) pie shell, baked
1 c. cooked pumpkin
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 to 1 tsp. grated orange rind
1 qt. vanilla ice cream, slightly softened

DIRECTIONS:

Combine pumpkin, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and grated rind. Add pumpkin mixture to ice cream and blend well. Pour into baked, cooled pie shell.
