Aunt Mae’s Peachy Peach Piea


2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. sugar (use a little less than 1/2 c.)
1 egg
1/2 c. flour with 1/2 tsp. baking powder and a pinch of salt added in


4 to 5 med. peaches, pared and sliced in wedges
Maple syrup (most any brand will work fine)

Cream butter, then add sugar and egg, beat well. Add flour mixture, a little at a time. Pour into a 9 inch pie plate or pan. Bring up edges. Cover with sliced fruit, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar and drizzle with syrup. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Try your favorite fruit if your wish.

This is a very gooey pie but delicious.
