Fudge Chocolate Pie

INGREDIENTS:

1 (9-inch) pie shell
1 (4 oz.) pkg. sweet chocolate
1/4 c. butter
1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand milk
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 c. chopped nuts or pecans
1 c. flaked coconut
1/2 c. hot water
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt chocolate and butter; remove from heat.
In a large mixing bowl, combine Eagle Brand milk and warm chocolate. Blend well. Stir in eggs, water, vanilla, salt, nuts, and coconut. Mix well. Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake 35-40 minutes. Serve warm or chilled. Refrigerate leftovers.
