Chocolate Chip Cookies

INGREDIENTS AND DIRECTIONS:

Get out the chocolate chips. Get the flour ready, then get the milk ready. Get the spoon ready to use. Measure the sugar. Put the oatmeal in a cup. Put the raisins in a cup. Put all these things in a bowl and mix them with a spoon. The cookies will be done.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

INGREDIENTS:

3/4 c. shortening or lard
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
6 oz. chocolate chips
1 pkg. instant vanilla or chocolate pudding mix (put in dry)
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. milk
2 c. rolled oats
1 c. nuts, chopped

DIRECTIONS:

Mix in order. Drop by teaspoons onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees until light brown. Makes about 5 dozen.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

INGREDIENTS:

2 sticks of butter, softened
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
Pinch of salt (optional)
2 1/2 c. oatmeal (ground up in cuisinart or blender)
1 lg. bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 lg. Hershey bar, chopped
1 c. nuts

DIRECTIONS:

Cream first four ingredients. Blend with flour and oatmeal. Add chips, Hershey bar and nuts. Roll into ping pong sized balls and place on greased cookie sheets, flatten cookies. Bake 400 degrees about 10 minutes. Flattening cookies will make the crispy. If you like chewy cookies use only 1 1/2 cups of oatmeal and bake at 375 degrees.
