Holiday Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

INGREDIENTS:

1 c. butter flavor Crisco
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. Quaker oats, uncooked
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1 c. holiday candy coated chocolate pieces or colored chips
1 c. coarsely chopped nuts

DIRECTIONS:

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Beat first six ingredients until smooth. Add combined oats, flour, soda and salt; mix well. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 3-inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes for chewy or 10 to 12 minutes for crisp cookies. Cool 2 minutes, remove to wire rack. Cool completely. 4 dozen.
