INGREDIENTS:
1/3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
2 tbsp. shortening
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cottage cheese
DIRECTIONS:
Use a cloth to squeeze cottage cheese dry, then sieve. Discard liquid. Cut shortening into dry ingredients as for regular pie crust, then add the cottage cheese mixing lightly with a fork until a ball of dough is formed. Turn out on very lightly floured pastry cloth and roll to fit 8 inch or 9 inch pie pan. For a baked pie shell, bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
