Pumpkin Pie Cake

INGREDIENTS AND DIRECTIONS:

1 box yellow cake mix (less 1 c.)
1 stick soft butter
1 egg

Mix the above (don’t forget to save the 1 cup of cake mix) and spread in a 9×13 inch pan. Press down to spread.

FILLING:

1 lg. can solid pack pumpkin
3 eggs, beaten well
2/3 c. milk
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
2 tbsp. pumpkin pie spice

Mix and pour over cake mixture.

TOPPING:

1 c. cake mix (from above)
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 stick butter
3/4 c. chopped walnuts

Mix the topping to a crumbly consistency. Put on top of cake and bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.
