INGREDIENTS AND DIRECTIONS:
Blend together: 1 can sweetened condensed milk
Add: 2 egg yolks
Stir gently and place into pie crust (baked).
MERINGUE:
Beat 2 egg whites until foamy. Slowly add 1/4 cup sugar and 1/8 tsp. cream of tartar, beating until stiff. Spread on pie and brown at 450 degrees, approximately 5 minutes.
KEY LIME PIE (Lighter Version) :
Bake pie crust and cool.
Blend together: 14 oz. sweetened condensed milk 1/2 c. lime juice Some grated rind
Pour mixture into crust and cool in refrigerator.
