INGREDIENTS:
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. shortening
1 egg, slightly beaten
6 tbsp. cold water
1 tsp. vinegar
DIRECTIONS:
Mix above ingredients with a spoon after adding cold water to egg until blended. Place in refrigerator until chilled.
Makes 2 or 3 pies. Prick with fork before baking. Bake one crust pie shell in 450 degree oven 12-15 minutes. Bake two crusts (do not prick) at 425 degrees as long as recipe directs.
