Strawberry Parfait Pie

INGREDIENTS:

3 oz. pkg. strawberry Jello
1 1/4 c. boiling water
pint (2 c.) vanilla ice cream
1-2 c. sliced fresh strawberries
Pie crust, baked and cooled

DIRECTIONS:

Mix powdered Jello and hot water until dissolved. Add ice cream by the spoonful stir until melted. Chill mixture until it mounds slightly (approximately 1 hour) fold in fresh strawberries, pour into pie shell. Chill overnight. Top with Cool Whip.
