Strawberry - Banana Pie

INGREDIENTS:

1 lg. banana, sliced
1 9″ graham cracker crust
1 pkg. (4 serving size) Jello strawberry-banana flavor gelatin
2/3 c. boiling water
1/2 c. cold water
Ice cubes
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip topping
1 c. sliced strawberries

DIRECTIONS:

Arrange banana slices in bottom of crust. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Combine water and ice cubes to make 1 1/4 cups. Add to gelatin, stirring until slightly thickened. Remove any unmelted ice. Using wire whisk, blend in whipped topping then whip until smooth.
Fold in strawberries. Chill until mixture mounds. Spoon over banana in pie crusts. Chill 2 hours. Garnish with strawberries and banana slices if desired.
