INGREDIENTS:
5 c. thinly sliced apples (3 lbs.) or 8 sliced fresh peaches
3/4 c. sugar
4 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. heavy cream
Pastry shell for one 9 inch pie
DIRECTIONS:
Mix together all of the above ingredients. Pour into a 9 inch unbaked pastry shell. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon sugar and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon. Bake in 400 degree oven 50-60 minutes or until fruit is tender. Refrigerate overnight. Serve with whipped cream.
