INGREDIENTS:
1 can peach slices
28 caramels
1/4 c. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts, chopped
1/4 c. peach syrup
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs, beaten
1 unbaked pie shell
DIRECTIONS:
Drain peach slices reserving 1/4 cup syrup. Melt caramels with reserved peach juice and butter in double boiler, stirring until smooth. Combine sugar, salt, vanilla and eggs. Gradually mix in caramel sauce and chopped nuts. Turn peaches into unbaked pie shell and cover with caramel mixture. Bake 45 to 50 minutes in preheated 350 degree oven.
