Grandma’s Peach Pie

INGREDIENTS:

eggs, beaten
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 tsp. vanilla
Baked pie crust (purchased or homemade)
Fresh peaches, sliced (or fruit of your choice)

DIRECTIONS:

Line baked pie crust with fresh fruit. (Peaches work well.) Mix eggs, sugar and flour. Gradually add 1 1/2 cups boiling water to egg mixture, stirring. Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour over lined pie crust and chill.
