INGREDIENTS:
1 lb. ground turkey
1 (16 oz.) can peas and carrots
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 c. mashed potatoes
1 egg
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
DIRECTIONS:
Saute onion in small amount of oil or butter, add ground turkey and cook and stir until light brown. Combine with undrained peas and carrots in casserole. Beat egg, add mashed potatoes and mustard and mix thoroughly. Spread mixture over meat and vegetables in casserole. Bake 30 minutes in 450 degree oven.
NOTE: Ground beef may be substituted for ground turkey, green beans and tomatoes may be substituted for peas and carrots.
