Blue Ribbon Shepherd`s Pie Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

1 1/2 pound ground beef
2 (16 oz.) cans tomatoes (drained)
2 (16 oz.) cans French green beans (drained)
1 small onion, diced
4 cups mashed potatoes
8 ounces shredded mild Cheddar cheese

DIRECTIONS:

Brown ground beef and onion together. Drain off fat. In a 13×9 inch baking layer ingredients: 1/2 ground beef and onion; 1 can tomatoes; 1 can green beans; then repeat layers again. Top with shredded cheese. Then cover with mashed potatoes. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
